The chromo-attractive panels have a role of detection and mass trapping. They are both used in a concept of biological control as well as in a process of rationalized chemical control.
IN INTEGRATED CONTROL :
The chromo-attractive panels allow detecting very early the presence of the pests which make possible, after identification:
-the choice of the auxiliary which has to be introduced
- the date of the first provision.
- the amount and the timing of the release.
In the too infested areas of the greenhouse, the chromo-attractive panels will be used in mass trapping (whiteflies, leaf miners …) to reduce pest populations.
The putting in place of the panels must be done very early, in the nursery.
IN A RATIONALIZED CHEMICAL CONTROL :
The chromo-attractive panels allow bettering rationalizing the chemical control (choice of the products, dates of intervention, positioning of the spray…).
The use of mass trapping, generalized to the whole crop, helps considerably the chemical control and allows a significant decrease in the number of treatments.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PANELS :
The yellow orange panel Soveurode, whose very specific colour is the result of many trials, is more particularly attractive for a wide variety of insects (aphids, whiteflies, thrips, leaf miners…). Its constitution makes it very luminous promoting its attractiveness.
The blue panel is more particularly designed to trap the thrips.
The yellow orange attractive panels and blue ones are not already limed. This allows an easy and non-messy handling.
The liming can be done after after the installation of the panels.
The glue Soveurode, packed in aerosol, allows adjusting the liming of the panels, if necessary to renew it.
An aerosol covers, on average, the 2 faces of 12 panels 30 x 60.
The glue Soveurode can also be used to limit the passage of the crawling insects.
